I think the QB battle (6 total) is between Rodrigues (formerly injured) and Faulk. Almost none of them have ever played in an NCAA game. Those two have limited reps.

Bingo. Yolo shutdown was preemptive too. Although it has since dipped below 15 percent (14.3 last I checked). Extremely frustrating for the athletic dept. (and us fans). I think it’s safe to say that Davis has the best Covid testing protocols in place in the entire Big West. I think any athletes who do indoor activities are tested daily with Davis’ saliva test. Benefits of having a med school. Yet Davis is the one that gets stalled indefinitely.

Apparently the coaches won’t lose any pay even though they won’t be teaching classes anymore. Thus the students are angry since they’re still paying for ICA (in their fees), but won’t be getting the classes offered they used to. I agree exercise walking sounds stupid. But to take a tennis class or a basketball course from a college coach sounds like a unique opportunity.

Hopefully they have the links working. The stream and radio were both down for the entire first half of the women’s game last week. It was absolutely pathetic. Seems like UC Davis has this problem A LOT. Kind of expect more from a Division I program

I agree with the earlier comments that baseball and field hockey would unfortunately likely be the two sports to go first.

What’s interesting is that baseball has a ton of super seniors set to come back and make its roster even larger than usual since they get their extra spring back from this past season. And more bodies = more $ needed for the team.
