Even though I also saw the score of our game, I watched it anyway. Losing AJ John for the entire first half really hurt. Then add in the fact that teams know we have no inside game at all. It becomes much easier for them to defend.Loved the effort though. They really left it all on the court. Whatever happens in this nit, there's no doubt this year has exceeded all my expectations.
Hope that nit bracket is correct. Love to see the aggies play at Maryland next weekend.Better yet would be to switch-out Maryland for Penn State or Temple
I was at that game in 2000 as well. I was soaked by the end of the game but it was worth it. Was there in 2002 also. The 2000 game started a streak of 11 years of flying out for at least one football game. My last game was the debacle at N Colorado a few years ago.
Thought the schedule was slightly better than in the past. Don't like the home and home games in the same season. I would like to see the game with Sac stay at the Golden One center for at least a few more years.I also believe the mens team needs to play a few games east of the rocky mountains every season.
One other item to consider. Right now we play 16 league games but in a few years we will be playing an additional 4 games once UCSD and CSUB join the league. Who we play in the non-league games is really gonna be important.
San Francisco and S Illinois have been added to the line-up for the Las Vegas tournament. Both are in the host bracket. I am guessing our game at USF is considered a part of this tr.
I figured our games in Las Vegas would have been played at the Orleans casino. They won't be. This tournament is being held at the South Point Casino.
We play Northern Colorado 2 times this season. Nov 13th in Colorado and they come to Davis on Nov 29th. Not sure whats up with playing a home and home in the same season.http://www.uncbears.com
new offer made last week to 6'1" point guard Marcus Shaver Jr. A 3 star out of Arizona. Has 10 other offers.
For 2018, Les has 9 offers out right now and even one for 2019
I am not getting my hope up too much for a win tonight, but about 12 seasons ago a small private school about 10 miles from my house wrecked a few brackets. With a roster of true student athletes Bucknell knocked off Kansas in the first round 64-63. A 16 seed has to win sometime.
Just finished watching the game. I still can't put my head around the idea that our team will be playing in the ncaa tournament.
Love the way this team plays.
Hope our first game is in Dayton because that will be a game we can win.
