This might be a special yr w/ us returning the core of a squad that won the regular season, a solid backcourt featuring the reigning BW POY, and starting at least 4 seniors (Schneider, TJ, Goode, John). I'm also very interested to see how our St Mary's transfer Stefan Gonzales plays. Maybe a starting 3 guard lineup?

Looks like we've got four Power-5 opponents in Arkansas, Indiana, USC and Arizona. Then you add in 3 WCC schools in USF, USD and LMU. Top it off w Sac St at (edit: Golden 1 center), a few others and a couple DII schools. Very pleased with the schedule overall. Good opportunity to shine this upcoming season w the reigning BWPOY, and most returning from the BW regular season champs team. Let's go Ags!

Tough pill to swallow. We truly blew it. That said, we really overachieved this yr. This team has a lot less talent (esp w/o Chima) yet won in SB and beat Irvine twice. On to the NIT.

With the new 4 tier system that factors in road games into opponent difficulty, beating even mediocre to lower tier power schools will help make a case for an at large bid. We’re currently 95 in rpi. Beating a 75 rpi team on the road is considered a tier 1 win. Plus it gives us exposure to quality opponents.
