CSUF never quit even down by 12 and Ags was never able to match their energy.

I don't think May/Blue will do anything which will potentially cost their job. Like what Zander said, teams need to prepare for both situations and may works in our favor. Moreover, when was the last time administration communicating/providing update to fans? Fans/Alumni will keep putting money in season tix regardless and any type of request without money on the table falls into deaf ears. I hope everyone just need to focus on the team other than Chima now as Chima is done in Aggies uniform.

I bet you the school administration just want to distance themselves from the investigation and will spin the focus on the team other than Chima (especially the team has been performing well against all odds without Chima). Even the investigation ends with no charge on Chima, you probably don't see any UCD affiliated medias covering Chima going forward (or someone may question the school decision on suspending someone). I had a mix feeling after the team winning the regular season title. The rest of the team have been taking the extra workload to win this but the official winning picture without Chima is a disgrace (Chima has been a big part of this team and has been showing support to his bros since suspension). As I said in earlier post, Chima decision on hiring an agent tells you he is not going to be reinstated (whether his/school decision) and there must be some sort of deal to resolve this issue under the table between him and the administration.

On the prediction of the BW tourney, I hope the team can get into the final but everyone is looking to take revenge on the team who beat almost everyone without Chima. The result of 2nd round will determine whether we will win the tourney this year (I still recall the HI nightmare couple seasons ago when we lost to HI badly in the 2nd round of the tourney).

Agreed. I’m not too much of a fan for Onyebalu, Goode, and Mooney but all 3 stepped up in big time tonight ( I have been doubting onyebalu starting since day one but he proves me wrong) . Les may not be able to recruit the best talent but recruit players with character to believe and play bigger than their opponents ( Turner and Monson may scratch their head wondering what Les did to the less talented and undersized Aggies).

I will reject to being reinstated if I am Chima. Haven't play for a while and the team is playing great make no sense for him to rejoin the team (Les rather put his chips on the younger players for next season given his contract is safe regardless of this season result). Furthermore, he may get hurt by going full force after abundant time of inactivity. Get an agent and play oversea for a short period of time can make him a more appealing stock to NBA team (at least G League affiliations).

I think everyone expects Chima is done with Aggies. I will not blame Blue on this incident but they better hope no impact on next season ticket sales as well as traveling fans showing up in BW tournament ( at least I will not go to Anaheim this year). Chima is most likely the guilty party in this incident but the administration should just rule him out of the season (suspend indefinitely creates confusion and false hope to fans)

I am not surprised with the lack of transparency on Chima case based on the potential complexity and track record of our AD. I will assume Chima missing at least rest of regular season ( for post season, depends on investigation progress and Chima willingness to play at that point). If Chima misses the rest of the season, will he be eligible to play for another D-1 for a season if enrolling in their post grad program?

And if I recall history right, this is not the first time a high profile player having rift with Les ( I remembered there was a freshman pg who played with lots of potential leaving the team with a weird reason, then played for Kent state or another power D-1 in east coast after a season at JC)

Partially agree. Momentum changed after Gauchos had a 18 points lead and tried to kill clock. If Gauchos didn’t change their offense, they might shoot more 3 and ended this game earlier ( I understand coaches being conservative but I rather have my team shooting the light out). We were close to tie it but Mooney didn’t shoot or drive to the basket ( I thought he will take the three)

Did anyone call in Tuesday to raise question regarding chima status? If he doesn’t play against the title contender, I wonder he played his last game in Aggies uniform.

If he is the only offense generator we had, it worries me ( esp we only had 3 assists in the first half.

Back to back terrible game. The team needs to make adjustments or this will become a rout by the Wolfpack

I agree with the team efforts on not quitting but getting fantasy stats doesn't necessary make things better. The last penalty "false start" is inexcusable (especially when our offense keeps rolling) and I hope Hawkins&Co playing this game tape 1st thing in next season training camp to correct all mistakes committed

Agree with first pt with the change offense style and new QB coming in. However, there should be plan in place to put him in the best situation to win game(s).
For your second pt on youth of the team, I just check hornets website and they have at least the same amount of freshman (both true and RS) on their team. If experience helps making the team better, it should apply to them too.
Lastly, EWU is a lot better than sac state and the nature of the game is different. The most disturbing thing about today game is the team STARTS playing after trailing 31 pts. How come we can focus and start playing from kickoff? This is not the first time happening and I hope this is the last time happening. Coaching staff needs to do a better job getting the team ready from the kickoff, not after couple quarters into the game.

I hope TT playing time is not impacted due to any non-football matters and expect to see him taking the starting position next season.
