3rd straight year signing a WR from the trinity league. I like it I feel we should recruit deeper in the Trinity.

Depends how good they are and relationship when you left the program. Heard of cases where players returned after entering the portal.

Seemed like URI gave up a lot of short passes. I think this absolutely works in our favor with our quick pass catchers.

Yeah I think Mitch is a dog though! But in regards to Lan not getting carries earlier. Carter was a 3 star who turned down fbs to come to Davis, we got lucky with Lan as he’s listed as a 2 star dual threat QB coming out. @everythingAgs, my apologies I don’t want you to think I’m shading Fisher. Just was a big fan of them as a duo and more so disappointed how coaches treated the situation. I think Fisher is amazing and hope he gets an NFL shot.

Did you count Vargas long TD catches as well ?

He didn’t sit behind Lan last year, he sat behind Matteo Perez and that is the biggest slap in the face to Fisher I’ve ever seen. I wondered about that all last year. That’s what you should be upset about, Mr or Mrs Fisher but once again I just stated that Plough shouldn’t have said it out loud and that to a football scout, Carter has more upside.. Not knocking our all big sky runningback, just giving credit to who I think is a future NFL prospect who I think we mismanaged.

One is a freshman. One is a junior. We gave up our future (not saying he would’ve forsure stayed) but I think we’re being in our feelings a bit. I mean no disrespect when I say Fisher’s ceiling is first team all big sky (hopefully next year) while Vargas’s ceiling looked more like FCS All American by his senior year.

I haven’t seen Fisher hurdle a guy nor jump over the line from the 3 yard line for us to score. I promise Fisher is one of my favorite backs to watch he’s really nimble and has amazing vision. Wasn’t trying to bash him, just giving props to Carter. My only statement was “Plough shouldn’t have said out loud that more carries were going to Fisher” talent level was too close to pick out a guy at that point in my opinion.

Fisher is amazing, my point was that Carter has the it factor. An NFL scout would draft Carter over Fisher 100 times out of 100. Carter checks every box and he’s a freshman. Fisher is faster with better vision. Vargas is better at everything you can’t teach, plus his game translates more with these pass heavy offenses.

I think Cap Space rule is the only way to fix this a bit.

Totally sucks. Only good thing is players are finally getting compensation but the transfer portal sucks. It killed high school recruiting and development.

I think it’s about a 65 percent chance Caden stays, I’ve heard rumors that he loves Plough and the offense. I think we’ll 100 percent lose Drew

I felt Carter was better than Fisher and I’m sure Carter felt the same way. I’ll get crucified for saying this in here but I felt Carter was a Lan clone (maybe a bit better by his senior year) he just has an “it” factor. You can already feel his absence, we’re bad in the red zone now.

This was week 3 or 4 when Plough said this.. Thought saying that publicly a mistake.

Apparently he only played 4 games his freshman year and is getting another year.

This one wasn’t surprising to me. When I heard Plough say out loud that Fisher is going to get more carries. Players of that caliber take offense to small jabs. Also think he’ll get big money offers. Other players to watch for:
