I think they have good linebackers. They have that Texas transfer - I think no. 46 or 47. He has a reputation for spearing and has had 2 targeting penalties. Montana fans hate him due to the targeting on their QB Johnson. The Aggie offense has really been clicking and I think the multitude of offensive options will be another key today.

Aggie wide receivers did a great job blocking last week (noted by Jason Eck). The tunnel screens went for some big yards because of that. I think an important key to today’s game for the Ags is to again be physical and win the trenches.

We played baseball against SJ State at the single A park there. Weird field, astroturf infield and natural turf outfield at the time. I hear Cal - Berkeley quite a bit. I don’t care what folks call us this weekend as long as we beat Sac State (Sac State High in Aggie Band-uh alma mater). I suppose the “new” administratively approved band wouldn’t know about that.

I’ll take it if it results in anything like the Idaho game with similar prediction. I thin the line is something like Aggies +7. I think South Dakota State folks (and to some extent Montana State folks) have more confidence than we do. Of course they both would like to see a UCD victory.

It absolutely will be a sellout. Heard SRO “seats” going for $200. Although I will say that folks started leaving the UCD game at half when it was still close. It was a wet cold night then but not nearly as cold as it will be on Saturday - but unless it is a blowout, it will be packed all game.

And to your other point - better to have both schools in same conference and division as you note. I don’t think there is a more talked about rivalry in all of FCS.
