    Who's next for Poly?

Baldwin and Plough out there in the wilderness. Where do they land next?
  • Nathaniel Hackett rough start in Denver
Wilson will be the Broncos QB for the next 2 years minimum. The question is how to get him clicking with what the Broncos have on offense, easy to blame Hackett, but Wilson is part of this equation too...and "reports" say RW isn't exactly liked at this time in the locker room, so maybe it is more on the quarterback, pretty sure Hackett is scouring the tape to find ways to open up those big play receivers they have in Denver. They should be banking 22-23 pts. a game minimum, but to be so bad that you're dead last at 14.1 pts. per game - in an offensive driven NFL, it's downright dreadful, something has to dramatically change...and those changes are tied to money. RW has the money, Hackett doesn't. Looks like Hack is making about $4M a year which is on the lower end for Head Coaching salaries in the NFL.

    Well, let the dominoes fall...

    Reminder, Davidson got an auto-bid...

Down 3-20 right now @ Carolina, 11:40 left in the game. Not good
  • What Will It Take to Keep Pace with the Success of Sac State Now?

It'd be nice to get an OLB/DE pass rusher in the portal, though Kennedy is coming back, he'll be stronger and hungrier in 2023. A stud WR transfer who is No 5 or No. 6 on the depth chart somewhere, need top end speed.

Man, it was 40 years ago and we're still talking O'Brien. We need some new legends in this book of Aggie lore!
  • Week 12: UC Davis (6-4) at Sac State (10-0)

I totally refuse to accept that. Something creative has to be done to get students in the stands. Hate to be cheap, but what sells? a) sex b) winning c) booze for the 21 and ups, food for the Freshman and Sophs.
  • What Will It Take to Keep Pace with the Success of Sac State Now?
UC Davis is primed for a stud transfer WR who has a brain. I know we've got good players, but we need a playmaker out wide, period.

The auto-bid for the Pioneer League really needs to be taken away.

Weber up on North Dakota 24-7

Man, no reason Davis shouldn't be in the Top 20, just fill it up every home game. Get them in the seats!

The fact Montana gets a home game, just irks me so bad.
  • 2022 FCS Playoffs
It's win or get out there, I wouldn't be surprised if they're on a fast track to a non-Power 5 conference at this point, they've been playing lower level football for decades. South Alabama came to Davis in year 3 of their program's existence and won. By year 5 they were in the Sun Belt.

Maybe TAMC has an academic standard or something. Reading up on their history, and having just hired (and fired) a former Rice Head Coach, that sounds like they needed someone to manage some real student-athletes.

Learning here that former Vikings QB Wade Wilson is a TAMC alum.

Sounds like you better have DI 7 wins or be really juiced in. I think our scheduling team is taking this seriously judging by future opponents. Wouldn't sleep on TAM Commerce, in the middle of a huge recruiting bed in a state that worships Football. They'll be tough on the road to open 2023, and they'll only get better.

Indicative of them needing to find a way to score some damn points!
