I was joking with my brother-in-law, who's a former Bobcat, about the show Yellowstone -- "Man, everything is happening in Montana, ALL THE TIME." He said the show is good entertainment, but the biggest farce when it comes to reality.

I've watched countless interviews of Aggie players, and not once do I ever think "meathead". These guys are switched on.

Combination, but honestly it all comes back to winning. Does the Dobb have lights yet? No? In the Yolo County heat, there are no lights, for night games, after a vast majority of classes conclude on campus and students may want to actually watch some baseball, especially dorm kids.

It's been kind of an inside joke that we never recruit mid-western kids to come to Davis and play football, especially ag family kids - looks like Simonson is majoring in Management - not sure what his background is besides that. Hope he can play.

Offensively, does this mean they're wide open, gun and gun?

I will say, the Davis home game lineup is pretty intense. Won't count out Southern Utah, ever, they draw solid athletes in that program, then you've got a rebuilding EWU program, a team the Aggies have never beat, then Montana, who hates our guts, then a tricky Portland State team, then Sac, who also hates our guts, but it's shaping up to be a solid game...again. It's a great looking stretch of football to be played at Davis.

They've been bringing in some massive talent the last two or three seasons, last December, however, UIW had to announce a new Head Coach as highly successful HC and offensive guru G.J. Kinne took the HC job with relatively new BCS members, the Texas State Bobcats of the Sun Belt Conference.

Better be this year, I think Connors could be playing at Cal or Stanford in '24 if he balls out again this season.

Nothing wrong with having options, there seems to be a pretty big October gap in home games after the Montana game, so I get splitting it up into early season and late season (I'm guessing that's what they did). Still, only 5 games. Push to sell them all.

Show the stars, it's great, what really matters is what an incoming freshman does with their time when they jump...and how well the coaching staff teaches them the game, and dealing with life in college. Hell, I think Khalil Mack was a zero star, mainly because he played nothing but basketball, but after his senior season he exploded and got offered at Buffalo with zero stars on his name, but the Buffalo scouts saw what they saw...huge potential...one coach at Liberty University commented late in his junior year to his Dad that if he gave up basketball and focused on football Khalil would, "...go to college for free."

Gotta be like a good 8 hour bus ride, I imagine it'll be a charter flight into Eugene.

It's like saying tax dollars are revenue, rather than acknowledging what they really are, a distraction of your attention to the actual value created from the product you put on the field/court in ticket and merchandise sales.
