Did Gbatu Jr. not have a breakout year last year? I mean he caught for 779 yards, including 100+ yd games @ EWU and @ Sac... in a season where Lan was the feature of features in an offense, I'd say Gbatu Jr. has arrived - now it's up to him to be the true #1 and break the 1000 yd mark with a brand new quarterback running things.

What stands out to me in 2024 is Gbatu Jr. catching 1 ball for 4 yards vs. Montana State. Our best players have to step up in the biggest games in 2025, every week will be hell on earth.

Yeah, I remember Anthony Soto, wow, so we have a connection in this game down in Montgomery. I guess I'm not surprised, that's a good thing to know

The Aggies have embraced a good chunk of the transfer portal this off-season. Wondering how the team chemistry is with the new guys, especially with most of them vying for a starting/impact role.

I'm watching that Sac / Fresno game.

Nice to see Lan had a bidding war for him, in the end I think New England's situation is perfect for his skill set. What an opportunity.

Getting the feeling around the college football atmosphere, that some basic NIL laws and regulations are needed, I'm not sure what's in place.

I am glad to see Conklin go.

Realizing now that New England drafted TreVeyon Henderson with the 38th pick as well. So New England has spent their 'new player' currency on a blue chip bell cow in Henderson and Lan as a 3rd Down swing, pass route, special teams back as well. Not sure where the other 4 on the roster come out.

I like having a responsible QB battle here in Davis. Imagine being in the QB room in Cleveland later this summer?

Raiders just drafted MSU "WR" Tommy Mellott and NDSU QB Cam Miller. Chip Kelly, former UNH OC, now Raiders OC likely was allowed to pick them both...create play packages.

Sac OG Jackson Slater went to Tennessee by the way, Rd. 5 Pick 31.

Listening to a lot of the talking heads on the NIL subject, it's a bit like the wild west out there, NIL has no formal rules or structural apparatus to operate from...and now agents/players are pushing through the preconceptions with bold moves to maybe help form the inevitable framework for this whole NIL deal.
