Sales and results are two different things, but it sounds like if he coaches that team up, they've got the talent to take off quickly.

Culture should mean something to a recruit, and certainly all the best programs have very good, distinct culture. UC Davis has great people and a great academic/football culture to thrive in. Sounds like UNC got blitzed by the McCaffrey gang.

I was a bit dumbfounded at Mark Johnson getting sacked. You look at his track record and he put together some good game plans against solid teams, but the Aggies lost a lot from '09 to '12, which I think is in part due to recruiting issues, but I'll always remember that 13-10 win @ SJSU in '10, defense absolutely destroyed the Spartans that day. Also held South Dakota State to 12 points on the road in 2012, the Jacks won 9 games that year and lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs to rival NDSU.

Happy Christmas Eve Y'all. We did it!

When I was in town for the Eastern game, I took my Dad and my Uncle to De Vere's only to find it had closed too, no doubt not helped by the COVID shutdowns all spring of 2020, and then the summer immediately thereafter, with continued shutdowns into the fall. Going to miss that place, whoever takes it over has a great space.

I'll check the line in Vegas this Monday when I'm there...probably won't lay down money until the night before though.

We need somebody to help develop QBs...which is strange saying with the Hawkins' in the fold, but there has been a clear drop off once Plough left last January.
