The good thing for all kickers and punters is to just go somewhere and strike balls, stay in game shape, stay practiced and get all the live/game reps you can. DW was kicking for the XFL, got an honest shot, and is now punting in the NFL.

Season starts in a little over three days folks!

Gonna be hot as Hades next week. It has sure been hot around here the last couple of days. Hope the bodies and minds are ready for that kind of climate.

According to Bob Dunning, the Aggies are 43-1 over the last 4 seasons.

That run and gun is their offensive scheme though, they're touting the #1 defense in their conference, so I expect they'll be tough defensively...and it'll be interesting to see the new OC's game plan.

Expecting TAMC to be very physical with our offense early, our guys better be ready for a pop to the mouth.

So next Sunday at 4:05 pm PT, the Saints play at the LA Chargers in another preseason game.

Corvallis is also a half hour closer to the Portland area, which of course, isn't what it used to be. Rose City has really gone downhill since I was a kid...still rabid Timbers supporters though, just sucks that downtown is ravaged by various issues.

I was in Eugene/Corvallis a couple weeks ago for my niece's USATF track meet at Hayward Field --- Corvallis reminds me a bit of Davis.
