Honored we were mentioned on the broadcast!

Phew. Just finished the game. LOTS of thoughts. A win is a win. Trying to get David Meyer on this week. Will save the nuggets for the POD, but heck we are 2-1 somehow.

Some positives:

Two explosive plays were a Lan Larison rush and a Josh Gale screen.

Miles has been efficient.

Defense gave up 7 points in a half.

D Line has gotten pressure the second straight week. Need to finish rushes.

Hunter Ridley 2/2 on mid-range FG’s.

19 passes, 14 rushes. Furthest pass down field has been 10 to 15 yards. No shots. Southern Utah blocking well upfront offensively, and starting to impose will in the running again.

Very similar to the Cal first half in terms of time of possession, total yards, and yet the turnovers and lack of capitalizing on solid drives.

An explosive play!

Time to stretch the field offensively.

Agreed. We are a much better brand athletically, facility wise and academically.

this is it. Students will come and fans will come if we are FBS, especially PAC-12. Things CAN change but you have to take leaps and risks. College football is rapidly changing and the teams that are “idle” are getting left in the dust.

Montana is nowhere near the recognition locally as the schools in the now PAC-6. They are an FCS school with a state with a tiny population. The schools in the now PAC-6 are at a much higher level in recognition and brand awareness.

Welp, would be a big bummer to lose out to Sac State on this.

Big away team crowds almost always increase home crowds in all levels of football. HS, FCS, FBS and Pro. Increases excitement and $ for the university. Also, increases the competitive spirit of the city and school population to have visitors trying to “take over” or talk trash. It would up the Aggie Pride for students and the community alike.

We are top 25 in the country in FCS in attendance at 97% filled by capacity.
