  • MBB: California Maritime Academy (0-3) at UC Davis (1-0) Wed. Nov. 9, 6 PM
Perhaps their struggles today could be attributed to a lack of seasoning since they were without Pepper.

If she brings a sack lunch to practice would that be a GLAD BAG ?

You may groan but in MN they would be ROFL..
  • San Diego State May Be Moving to the PAC12
It would depend on whether or not state tax dollars are involved I think.

She appears to be glad in her picture
  • Week 10: Idaho State (1-7) @ UC Davis (4-4)
I know. I was kidding. In general if I post something about football I'm not being serious. Actually that's the way I'm starting to approach other sports too. If I followed them with the ferocity that many football fans on here do I'm quite sure I would have a heart attack.
  • Week 10: Idaho State (1-7) @ UC Davis (4-4)
Why 32 ? Is he expecting the Aggies to score five more touchdowns but miss three of five extra point attempts ? Why so little faith in the kicker, Bob ?

At least when I make up the totals by which the Aggies will lose it's just nonsense based on little to no information. I'm a nobody on a message board but he's a local sports expert, right ?

Also what's this about the Aggies having the Bengals for lunch-is UCD sponsoring a nice meal for the two teams prior to the game ? Realistically an Aggie would not eat a bengal if we are accepting that Gunrock represents what an Aggie is. Perhaps if they were playing the Idaho State Oats and Hay.
  • WBB: Exhibition vs SFSU (Nov 1, 2022)
They said SFSU was picked to finish ninth in the CCAA ? I think that's kind of stupid. People want to know who the contenders for the title are, not who's going to finish in or near the basement. Toward the bottom there's so much variability anyway because you're talking about teams you think will not be very good. How do you accurately rate mediocrity ? 8th/9th doesn't really matter. The message is, "We don't think you will do well." They should only vote on the first 3 spots. They don't give kids awards at HS graduation for finishing with near-worst GPA's.

Or maybe his parents first bonded over a rousing game of Mortal Kombat.
  • Week 10: Idaho State (1-7) @ UC Davis (4-4)
We have to learn to stop living vicariously through the teams in these games. Lol
  • Week 10: Idaho State (1-7) @ UC Davis (4-4)
Idaho State wins by 28. They beat the Aggies last year in the Idaho Flea Market Arena if I remember right.

Lol@Raiden (ISU running back). Clearly his parents were caught up in the "aiden" baby-naming fad but still wanted to represent the Oakland Raiders

No way ? Lily Wahinekapu is going to play for the Rainbow Wahine ? I'm looking forward to when some guy named Davis Aggiesevich transfers to UCD.
  • Week 9: Cal Poly (1-6) @ UC Davis (3-4) Battle for the Golden Horseshoe
You started early this time. Ok, Cal Poly wins by 22 points.
  • Week 8: Aggies (2-4) at Northern Colorado (2-5)
Home advantage. Also, the Bears will be more acclimated to playing at a higher altitude.

Each week I say the Aggies will lose (except I forgot to do so last week-probably why they won). If they lose then I'm right. If they win it's an instance where it's good to be wrong.

I won't keep this going through basketball season-too many games. However, I will say that the Aggies are in for a keelhauling. They will wish they were only just losing to the Urban Knights. Cal State Maritine will light up the scoreboard all night.

They'll be alright as long as Burns and Baker don't resort to dangerous stretching methods like the one in the photo.
  • Week 8: Aggies (2-4) at Northern Colorado (2-5)
Northern Colorado will win by 35 points.
  • Women's Gymnastics--Lavallee gone--at start of the season
We don't know for sure that this is related to the racism allegations, but it certainly out of the realm of the possible.

It seems like the new AD has spent a lot of time cleaning up messes that Kevin Blue either just flat out dismissed or swept under the rug. Wouldn't surprise me if Blue resigned just so he wouldn't be brought to task, and the pandemic gave the perfect distraction.

The statement about BLM from Lavallee they quoted seems coerced and kind of insincere. And look how long it took him to make it.

I really don't give two sh!ts about gymnastics, but I do care about whether he lost his job for doing something bad, or if he was dismissed for not giving progressive enough a response. Coaches, hired long ago, such as Lavallee and Vaughn, may have different ideas of what their role is with respect to student-athletes, and when they aren't meeting the new expectations.
  • Women's Gymnastics--Lavallee gone--at start of the season
I wonder if this is related to the student-athlete who made the allegations of racism against the program a few years ago. To my knowledge she would have long since graduated, but like we saw with Matt Vaughn a coach can take the fall for something that happened years before if they knew about it and didn't address it properly, or it was perceived they didn't handle it properly.
  • FCS NCAA numbers - 2022 mid-season
What team does Miles Gastings play for ? They probably don't have a very good record.
