  • Week 12: Montana State @ UC Davis
Actually we have had many QBs who continued the winning at UCD. Biggs, Speck, Moroski, Obrien,
Khari, Daft, O'Sullivan, Bridewell, etc. I am sure I am missing some. But, Sochor (and staff) were the ones who found most of the QBs who were overlooked by the larger schools.
Khari and Daft were such good QBs, I only thought that if they threw the ball an Aggie would catch it (or not). They were very accurate passers. Much like Maier. Also, we have had a few great receivers in our days, but O' Sullivan had the best trio. These guys would catch it and in 2-3 plays they would score. We lost a playoff game to a school, who will go nameless ,as we had about a 28 point lead, and we scored often and fast Our the D was totally exhausted from being on the field for most of the game. And, we then went to the run game to run the clock, and started getting 3 and outs. They came back to beat us something like 53-48.
  • WEEK 8: AGGIES @ THUNDERBIRDS
Actually Babb could be a very dangerous receiver who will draw double coverage soon. He is explosive after the catch.
  • 2019 BATTLE FOR THE GOLDEN HORSESHOE
It looks like a forward lateral after the first guy catches it and plays it back to his defensive guy.
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ North Dakota
Tackling is non existent by the dbsm
  • Montana Game
aI also noticed tackling efforts were poor several times during the game.
  • Week 4: UC Davis @ North Dakota State
A thing I see is when receivers drop passes, it usually means they hear footsteps, and are expecting a hard hit. These two things affect the receivers thought process instead on concentrating on catching the ball, but are getting ready to either run or take a hit. Eihter way, you have to give some of the credit to the defense.
  • Week 4: UC Davis @ North Dakota State
I think playing in the dome works more in the Aggies favor. A wet windy field would be a huge advantage for the Bison
  • Week 4: UC Davis @ North Dakota State
Here's another wrench we could throw at NDSU. Being in a dome makes Maier much more accurate (not having to deal with wind), and could thus make THEO GOODWIN a much more dangerous receiver against NDSU. He runs a sub 4.4 40. A play here and there would probably require a double team to prevent a home run ball. If they don't double team, I would definitely throw it long and let him run to the ball. Better an overthrown than under thrown ball. A couple of these beating the DB whether it's caught or not will force NDSU to cover him well.

Take advantage of the early stops and score yes. This is a continuation from my earlier post. It wouldn't let me edit.
  • Week 4: UC Davis @ North Dakota State
I too believe we need to stop their run game. I think it is possible we could do this before they make adjustments. If so, we need to tabke
  • Week 4: UC Davis @ North Dakota State
I am beginning to think they are of the opinion they have the better offense, and the better defense to stop our offense. So, why should we play the game. I'll tell you why? We have beaten them in the past as they have us. And in the 6 recent games they were all close. But, I think they should post on another forum, and definitely not on a forum that says Any Given Saturday. This could be THAT Saturday that bites them in the *** Sure I think the Aggies are to be underdogs in this game, but a minor error or couple of inches here or there could make a huge difference in the outcome. I believe we are faster than the Bison, and they are bigger. So, we will have to use our speed to offset the difference. That means make the big guys run sprints. That will slow down the defensive line as the game progresses. And, make the DBs cheat up to stop the quick outs. That would give the Maier a good opportunity to throw the ball downfield. And, to use the draw play to get Tehran and Ulondo the opportunity to take advantage of the defensive linemen's weariness.
  • Week 3: Lehigh @ UC Davis
Local sub shop? That would be Kathy's Corner
  • Week 3: Lehigh @ UC Davis
Yes, I remember them Lehigh cheers doling push ups in the endzone after TDs on OUR grass. It's time to bust them a good one and no mercy.
  • Week 2: UC Davis @ San Diego
As long as you win you should not drop in the poles. If we were to lose by 1 point to NDSU would they drop? Would we drop or go up? The answer is yes we would drop, and not go up even though it was NDSU. You need to defeat the teams you play. If you do that, you will be number 1 regardless of how close the scores were.
  • Week 1 FCS Games of Note
Chris took it to Best's team. Aggies have long memories.
  • Keelan Doss: Raider Watch
Last Aggie that I remember getting cut by them is in the Hall of Fame, I believe, Rolfe Bernirske
  • Athletics and Football Budget
I don't recall any playoff games free for UC Students. This because the playoffs were NCAA games and not supported by the conference. I remember paying to get in D2 Playoff games, but at a discount.
  • Father of Aggie RB Tehran Thomas Dies at Age 45
Sorry for your loss. He passed at a way too young age. Sounds like a great dad, and a great mentor for all he touched. My prayers to you and your family.
  • WR Theo Goodwin - Nevada Transfer
I actually thought I read someplace that a redshirt could play in 4 games and not lose a year elgibility as well.
