Sac has to build a new on campus facility. Hard to recruit athletes to attend a school whose gym is about 7 seats larger than the high school gym there were playing in.

I would hope they wouldn't create a new logo just for this. Branding nightmare.

That's been the problem with basketball, we don't have any depth. It's similar to football, we have decent starters and then there isn't much left on the bench. There are 351 DI basketball teams so we have some stiff competition, but Les was one of
The first coaches on campus who regularly recruited outside of California. He's been fishing in a bigger pond for a while.

Like @BlueGoldAg said, I hope Blue evaluates the program and identities weaknesses. Basketball is the sport that can launch the athletic program to new heights. I haven't heard anyone at work talk about their FCS playoff brackets, but you can bet when March rolls around everyone will know what is going on!

Even with those transfers he still managed to have one good year with Hawkins, Ritchart, and crew. He has now set the bar high, given Aggie fans a taste of success and getting blown out just isn't in the cards.

The bigger issue is that these are his recruits. These are the guys he circled on the white board and went after. We're not that big, athletic, or aggressive...and that is going to hurt us. Even in a year like this one where the Big West is WAAAAAY down from previous years.

Basketball can see greater success in a much faster time frame than football and we have seen that with Corey's senior year.

We just have to find a way to maintain that level of success.
