Next time I'll post a timestamp.
  • Week 8: Aggies @ Cal Poly
211 yds rushing and 200 yds passing at this point. Balance!

Tehran Thomas the only pass-catcher not in double-digit yards. Balance!

Five different scorers (plus the PK). Balance!

    Maier: 14-28 for 137 yds. :(
    Also Maier: 4 TDs. :starstruck:

I like getting more than one sellout crowd before we worry about this.

I really don't care what effect the game had on bettors.

AGS voters giving ISU no love @ 24. Woof.
  • Week 7: Homecoming vs. Idaho State
Yup, this is when we really find out something about this team and its place in the conference pecking order, IMO.
  • Poll: Best Aggie team ever? Marsh says 2018.
I have a soft spot for the '96 team that went to Kingsville and knocked off the #1 D-II team in their home stadium.

The home loss to Bloomsberg in '00 still rankles. :broken:

That seems optimistic to me. Maybe I don't pay enough attention to football east of the Rockies, but to my mind, Davis needs to beat the historic powers in the BSC before people get all excited. I dunno. Maybe I'm just a pessimist based on the Gould era...ha. Had a text conversation with a friend during the game this week trying to wrap my head around being legitimately good again vs. playing bad teams.

Looking forward to the rest of the season, for sure!

    Vandals forum is unhappy.

eGriz is amused... I get the feeling that noone much liked Idaho.

Base on commentary at eGriz, I think the conference will be taking Davis seriously this year.
  • Week 4: Idaho @ UC Davis
The game stats are interestingly balanced, given the final score. Time of possession was nearly identical, but Davis ran 13 more plays than Idaho (and 91 overall!). Both teams converted about the same number of 3rd and 4th downs. Davis only outgained Idaho by 100 yds.

    8500ish reported attendance--pretty accurate number?

Weird end to the half, but the score looks good.
  • Moving Up In Polls
Yeah, that's always been my hesitation as well.
