Odd. I thought they even reached 4 wins his last year, a high point. I think when they blew a 28 point lead to Kansas, the biggest implosion in program history, it was a huge turning point. He continued to have his son throw the ball, some believing in order to break some school records.
The few articles I've read go back to his son as QB. This article has some interesting, player, off the record comments. Players here also complaint about not having their names on the jerseys, and not getting a voice.
I hope the coaches can read through our collective bluster - at times - and realize we just want to be competitive again, want to win, and want to do it with Aggie Pride. Go Ags!
If there was ever a year to land a few JC recruits, this would be it... our new DC should know SoCal inside out, including his own team... so the only remaining hurdle may be if they meet our academic standards.
Logical... but 1 yr as a HS coach and 1 yr as a JC Coach seems slim. Ironic that Hawk is all about embracing the challenge, go for it, etc. yet Cody and Pops are tied at the hip. ... If it happens, a GA slot might make more sense.
