Good point, I forgot about those two. Also, you correctly point out a contributing factor to our previous success - other teams had some off years. Coach Williams at SB had several.playerd out and Irvine graduated some impact players.

Not an apples to apples comparison. The entertainment dollar / fan base here is competing with 200 different activities and a changing fan base. I believe we do have a huge advantage being on the west coast.
