The Cardinal had a poor run game this year, 1300 yards total for the team. RBs Jones and Peat, both juniors about UG size, each had about 400 yards. They have a Soph RB who's 210.

When he was first here, I wasn't there. Sources are players, family, guests. The story has remained consistent for years.

The former parents and players are the source. Including Muslim players. There is a sermon and a blessing at the team meal 3 or so hours before gametime. The sermon is 10-15 minutes.

Maybe the lesson is that studs at WR & QB > marginally better overall depth.

Coach Hamilton had no schollies, scheduled up, and played DI powers. Opposite here. Les is tight, and the team plays tight. No big men or depth. We got hammered on the boards and inside.

Is Les still having a preacher give pregame sermons?

I don't see this team as better than 2018 (Maier / Doss), or 1982.

Coach Stewart had a low salary and bare bones team budget.

Am I right - we played 2 Freshmen and 1 redshirt Frosh?

Not sure about 10 year contracts.

If we agree that our team was generally stacked and talented, then maybe our staff badly misjudged our QB capabilities. Vaughn and Harrell also never seemed to get untracked.

Our special teams play seemed above average or better. Our defense likely would have been better if they were on the field less.

Sac State seems ahead of us, and their QB was in our program.
