Looking forward to my first game at the new stadium. My son and I are parking at my old fraternity house, riding bikes through campus to take a little tour, then bike to the game. Excited to step foot on campus for the first time in almost 20 years tomorrow!
I was 95% kidding. I actually don't care all that much, and am old enough to wish all these kids the best in whatever they do after college. But let's be serious here; Sac State isn't really putting a lot of kids in the NFL ;-)
Jimmy G. went to Eastern Illinois, not Washington. I had to look that up, mostly because as a 49er fan, I couldn't bring myself to root for him if he went to EWU. For some reason I can respect NDSU. But I draw the line at EWU! ;-)
When we went to the Cal vs. Davis game about year and a half ago, there were a bunch of private lots on that shuttle route. But, traffic getting in to town was a bit of a mess.
I think this has been a common issue long before cell phones. Just general distraction, whether it's changing the radio station or reaching for something. There was a young man up in Santa Rosa that was hit from behind at ~50 mph on a winding back road when a lady reached back to grab a snack out of her groceries in the back seat. As she reached back with her right hand, her left hand pulled the wheel to the right. I think she mostly walked away with no charges. Ross Dillon is mostly a vegetable almost 20 years later.
To pour salt in the wound, the family's house burned down in the 2017 fires in Sonoma. The parents are his primary caretakers and lost all of the medical equipment they had accumulated over the years. http://www.rossdillon.com/
it doesn't really matter. We were able to give an additional week of recovery and still get the W. Moving forward, he can probably sit another week or two and we'll be fine.
