That sounds like a "glass half full" view on nearly losing to a now 0-5 team. How many points/1st downs have we left on the table due to silly penalties this year? He has to clean that stuff up soon. Easy for me to say as a guy who played lineman in college (sidelineman, during IM fotball...)
I can't handle another nailbiter this weekend! Time to put up 50+ points and play a complete game. My SDSU alum coworker promised me his Jackrabbits will crush the Penguins of Youngstown St. as paypack for our 2006 loss to them.
All kidding aside, work has been pretty unproductive since we hired a 2nd person who follows FCS football. It's probably the first time since I've graduated that I'm able to talk about teams that mostly nobody has ever heard of. "Davis has a football team?" Go Ags!
Afrer a strong start, the Aggies started conference play 0-2, then tied CSUN last. They almost gave up a goal in the last few seconds, but the goalie had a fantastic save to keep the score tied.
can they get the audio figured out on these? I have to turn the volume WAY up, and you still can't here the questions. Also, I'm a dad, too, but I just don't understand having the kids at these press conferences. Not sure if it was one or two weeks ago where one of the kids was digging for gold in his nose.

Sam Herder was on the Aggie Pride Podcast and writes for Hero Sports. He's one of the people who gets a vote for the FCS poll, and a lot of those people post their ballots. He's just one of 56 (?) people who cast a vote and puts a little article together each week rationalizing his poll.
I could be completely wrong, but as I understand it, the ball has to cross the line at the front of the endzone, regardless of where the player's body is. That's why the ball can be out of the back or side of the endzone, as long as the player has a foot in the endzone. The ball has to enter that front line of the endzone, and the player has to be in bounds.
