his final 4 were OSU, USC, UCLA, and Utah soooooo.CA Forever

I heard his Final 5 were OSU, USC, UCLA, Utah, and UC Davis.

    :D
  • Doss to NFL or not?
I disagree on the repeat part.

    I think he goes for 2,000 and 15 TD's.
We have quite a bit of talent at WR/TE. Some big bodies.

    Doss 6'3
Moore 6'0 (uhhh......BTW where is he on the roster?....)
    Harrel 6'2 RsSoph
    Cummins 6'2
    Preece 6'5
    + LoMo @ 5'11 who plays like he's 6'6 250

Too many weapons to double Doss every down. All Maier needs is 3 seconds. If he has 5 - look out.
And if we can run and play a little D.........

Chris Olave commits to Ohio State.

I am going to just go ahead and say we were in his top-3.
  • Doss to NFL or not?
The promo video and #KE3LAN is gold. Well done by @UCDfootball.
    This is great. Can’t wait.
  • Doss to NFL or not?
If the defense improves even a little we should have a winning season, just wish we have last year's schedule.
  • Doss to NFL or not?
We won't know until we know......

    ....write that down.

    Gunner Faulk commits! #QBU
  • 2018 Recruiting List
Huh? D-2? Must not have had a full offer from Davis?
  • 2018 Recruiting List
I love the big OL signing. Sounds like we are lucky to have him!
  • Doss to NFL or not?

I say its Davis or the draft. He is going to be thrown to him 20+ times per game at Davis (not a guarantee anywhere else). Plus, the scouts have already found him. No need to transfer up to be discovered.
  • UC Davis Dream Team Debate
I listed all-time scoring rank for a few......But ya, this hasn't been statistically driven
  • UC Davis Dream Team Debate

  • MBB 7 pm Thursday: Aggies (10-5 & 1-0) @ UC Riverside (5-11 & 0-2)
I watched the replay (last 10 minutes) on ESPN3. Nice job by Herenda and Marsh.

Aggie defense came up big. We made our free throws when it counted.Every road W is huge.
  • Nice article on Ron Gould
It was a trend for sure
  • Nice article on Ron Gould
He landed Josh Kelley. Would have been a stud at the FCS level. Never got a chance to shine before he transferred to UCLA when Gould got fired.

    @ Davis
2015: 5 yards per carry as a true frosh (530 yds)
2016: 7 yards per carry as a soph (609 yds) (Luuga 1,077 yds- 5 yds per carry)

Was on the short side of a platoon (well, actually RB 2) with Luuga. IMO Kelley was the premium RB of the 2. I guess we'll never understand why Luuga was used more- perhaps it was purely class status.

I would like to think Kelley would have gone for 2,000 in 2016.....and who knows last year with our passing attack to balance.
  • Toler back to Cal
Tough blow to recruiting, I would imagine.
  • 2018 Recruiting List
    This sh*t happens a lot.

Puzzling to go from committing to Davis where you'll throw the ball all over the field 40+ times per game and 3,500 yards, to committing to a place that wont let you achieve better than average QB status - around 18 attempts per game and 1,800 yards.....playing second fiddle to the next Rashaad Penny.
Like Olave tweeted (he was pissed too) "....hand it off your whole career."

These kids want to play at "Big Time" programs. In the end that just doesn't matter if you are QB 2 or 3.
Can't fault the kid for jumping on his chance to go to what was probably his dream school.
  • Keelan Doss named to AP FCS All-America Team
    f555tc0ukidxmsg4.png

Please tell me he's coming back. (Probably reading too much into this, I know.....)
  • Jake Maier nominated for Hero Sports Newcomer of the Year
A running back from JMU is in the lead.......with 617 rushing yards. Ridiculous.
  • Writer critiques Cal Poly football
I've never understood the triple option in the D1 era at Cal Poly.

There is more than enough talent in Southern California alone to field 11 athletes and run a more modern offense if they so choose.

We can't say much about it.....they've been a playoff team multiple times, making this season pretty much an anomaly.

..........................SochorField says CP should recruit for a more modern offense, then points out playoff success and says CP season was an anomaly
