  • Week 12: CAUSEWAY
    Has the team been practicing?
    Has Sac been practicing?
That would tell us a lot.
  • FCS Bracketology
It was frustrating to go 6-5 or 5-6 what seemed like every season after 2003.

It did not compare to the pain we all endured during Gould's tenure, however.
  • FCS Bracketology
    Who cares.
    I'm still pinching myself because we aren't 2-9, 5-7, or 6-5 again.
  • Week 12: CAUSEWAY
A blowout win would sure help getting a #7 or #8 seed.
Rock on the gas pedal until the clock runs out. Score 70 - payback for last year!
  • Week 12: CAUSEWAY
I said it once this season: we can improve at QB. I'm not sure is Maier is 100% He also might be trying to do too much at the line of scrimmage. Putting too much on himself to "figure it out" before the snap, and not just trusting guys and flinging it.
  • Week 12: CAUSEWAY
I hope they didn't print more than 75 of them.
  • Week 12: CAUSEWAY

They have ATHLETES. They always do.
One of their best is RB Elijah Dotson
6'0 190lbs and has rushed for 1,093 yards - for a team as shi**ty as Sac, and in the Big Sky Conference, that's impressive (234 @ Montana). 2017 Causeway 6.1 yards per carry for 92 yards.

    Remember:
A team coming in with 1 win won in '15 (Davis)
with 2 wins in '16 (Davis)
with 3 wins in '07 and '11 (Davis)
with 4 wins more times than I can count.

Sac has won this game 5 times in the last 20 years. It just goes to show that the quality of coaching makes all the difference (in recruiting, on the field, and off the field).

This game really needs to be played. We need another strong W going into the playoffs.
    Play this thing anywhere:
    Kezar (SF State)
    Stanford (@Cal)
    Oakland Col.
Cal State Hayward (East Bay) - paint some lines on that soccer field!
Some High School Stadium in the southern east bay.
UNLV is out of town - too expensive to get everyone there?
UNR is out of town - is a bus trip
  • Week 11: UC Davis @ Eastern Washington
Hate to say it....but them California boys weren't ready for it up there. Its a different game in CA.

Good experience for a young team.
  • Week 11: UC Davis @ Eastern Washington
Old fashioned butt whoopin. It happens, might be good for us at this point in the season.

    Back to work. Beat Sac.
  • Week 11: UC Davis @ Eastern Washington
I thought going into the Montana game, the Aggies would find out who they were as a team. They did.
The NAU game was dull - no students and the crowd was a let down. I think the defense got complacent playing against QB4.

Keying on the run and frustrating Barriere will be big.

I think the Ags regain their edge and are ready to play at Roos. Almost beat 'em last year, but this year the Aggies get the W.

Walk in there and put a rock on the gas pedal!
  • Week 10: FCS Ranking Polls
    BEAT EWU
    WOOOO!
  • Week 10: Northern Arizona @ UC Davis
Would love to see the sign on the front doors of Shields:
"CLOSED FOR DIVISION 1 FOOTBALL GAME. GO AGGIES"
  • Week 10: Northern Arizona @ UC Davis
Man, Aggie Stadium looks beautiful on TV.

    What's the latest on Cookus?
  • Week 10: Northern Arizona @ UC Davis
Leave no doubt. This time in the 1st half.

Big Sky please. We just got here, and the party is just getting started.
  • Week 9: UC Davis @ Montana
Ya, they were bad. The bi*tched about a push-off by Keelan Doss on that TD late in the game - where there was so clearly not a push-off. They also made up some BS about Doss having a bad attitude.
