I do always chuckle at how the fans sit in an almost triangle formation in the shade of the jumbotron during games when it's hot. And as the shade recedes, the fans just get closer and closer together.

In regards to shade, I’ve chatted with folks about some sort of awning over the student section. It gets so darn hot during the first few games, if I were a student I wouldn’t want to come back for another game and roast out there. But then again, no clue how they’d do it and it would probably obscure the view.

That is great. But I do think the Athletics dept should consider a space dedicated to apparel sales. The makeshift sale they did in the Edwards room had a ton of folks at it. They could sell a ton of gear and paint the town blue and gold again!

What ever happened to the team store located near the ticket booth entrance opposite the scoreboard side? It used to be open and sell all sorts of apparel. Has been locked up for at least two seasons. I heard the players use it to store their gear in now. I bought a nice hat there once. Seems like UCD would want an opportunity to sell gear, but guess not. They had a lot of folks in the Foster room at the UNI playoff game buying playoff clothes.

She tends to miss those when there's even a hint of pressure on her. She just scores so mcuh since she has so many opportunities. Ags need to hold ball better right now.

Yes. The Bee has several young writers that are either sac state students or alums. Lots intern over the summer and have produced great content for the news section. The Bee’s sports staff has to be less than 5 writers though.

Nobody on here has mentioned Tim Plough as a possible replacement. Wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves UCD after the playoffs to take the NAU HC job. But Sac State would be enticing as well.

The reality is that’s not the case right now and probably won’t be for several years. They need to just let them in with ID.

UCD has done some pizza giveaways at basketball games over the last couple weeks that have gotten kids in the door. They've been sneaky and not given out the free pizza till halftime, so they stay in The Pavilion. But then most of the kids do leave as soon as they get their pizza. Maybe free food might entice some to come out to football too?

I’ve seen ucd folks sitting in the scoreboard side end zone tooting this really loud horn after some UCD scores the past couple years. They definitely did it at a few games this year. It’s more of a compressed air whistle looking type of thing though. Anyone else know what I’m talking about?
