  • Men's Water Polo Seeks to Return to the NCAA Tournament
    Final: UCD 9, UCSD 6.

Ags win WWPA and earn autobid to NCAA's.

    Go Ags!

(Pomona-Pitzer won the SCIAC tourney and I think (not sure if score is final or partial) USC defeated UCLA to win MPSF title. GCC - Pacific v. UCI starts later today.)
  • FCS playoffs
Looked at the NCAA site a little closer. USD gets an autobid. They get to travel from sea level to Flagstaff.
  • Men's Water Polo Seeks to Return to the NCAA Tournament

As the ucdavisaggies.com recap points out, the Ags' season record now stands at 20-6, marking the first time in history that the team has had back-to-back 20 win seasons.
  • Men's Soccer
Pacific 2, Fullerton 1. Pacific moves on to play Stanford.
  • Men's Soccer
Great season for the men. Go Ags.

(Fullerton will host Pacific on Thursday. Winner faces Stanford on Sunday.)
  • Week 11: Southern Utah Thunderbirds
I think a little Iowa v. an Ohio State, Auburn v. Georgia, Miami v. Notre Dame, Iowa State v. Oklahoma beat down would be a good thing.
  • Week 11: Southern Utah Thunderbirds
Meanwhile, Slack took it to Cal Poly, 49-14, "in a game that was not as close as the score would suggest." Slack is still thinking play-offs.
  • 2017-18 Causeway Cup
UCD men finished 16th and the women finished 20th in the NCAA West Regional Cross Country Championships, while the Slack State men finished 23rd and the women 22nd. This gives the Ags 10 points in the Causeway Cup standings, bringing the running score to UCD 15 - CSUS 10.

Order is restored in the universe.

And because I knew you would want to know, both schools athletics websites have brought their Causeway Cup pages into the 2017-18 school year.

    Go Ags!

  • Big Sky Scores Week 10
Slack opened it up in the 4th, now 43-21 with less than four minutes to go.
  • Idaho State
Good day to be an Aggie and from Iowa.
  • Men's Water Polo Seeks to Return to the NCAA Tournament
Ags defeat UCSD in La Jolla today, 15-12, to finish 7-0 in conference and win the regular seaon WWPA title and top seed in the conference post-season tourney. They play UOP next Friday and then return to La Jolla for the conference tourney in two weeks.
  • Men's Water Polo Seeks to Return to the NCAA Tournament
Ags are in Southern California this weekend. Rolled over LMU, 22-5, on Thursday and play UCSD on Saturday. Ags and Tritons are 6-0 in conference play and winner will, duh, win the regular season title and top seed for the conference tourney. These two teams have met for the last few WWPA tournament titles.

    Go Ags!
  • Men's Soccer
Don't know what the selection rules are, but I suspect Dr. Mike is right. 24 automatic qualifiers and 24 at large bids. I think the top seeded 16 get first round byes, while the remaining 32 play a first round game.
  • Men's Soccer
CSUN defeated Slack, 3-2 in double OT to win the CSU quarterfinal. Ags will host the Matadors in a semi this Saturday. UCR defeated UCSB in a UC quarterfinal and will play Fullerton State in the other semi.
  • Field Hockey 1-9
Finish the season 1-16, 0-6 in the Western Division of the America East Confernce, but they make the conference tourney. ??? There are four teams in the Western Division and five in the Eastern Division. Vermont finished last in the east and is out of the tourney, even though they finished with better record than the Aggies. Canadian Football League has a rule called the crossover. If the fourth place team in one division has a better record than the third place team in the other, that fourth place team goes to the CFL playoffs and the third place in the other division team goes home. Ags will travel across country to play Albany which tied for first in the east.
