I've found this tidbit interesting. I'm not taking anything away from the recruiting job that Marion has done at Sac State because they are obviously bringing in some very talented athletes but from I've been able to find of players who received offers from UC Davis AND Sac State, Davis is winning the commitment battle 6 to 1 (6 to 3 if we're being totally fair, but 2 of those commits to Sac dropped their commitment and have committed elsewhere).

Maybe we should offer some 4 and 5 star players like Sac has since Marion has had success landing some elite players that has some of the top FBS programs scratching their heads...assuming there are any of those players who can perform well in the classroom too and not just on the playing field...

I am excited for our future especially if we go FBS. 4 and 5 star recruits are on the horizon!

I suspect that top progams are not too puzzled by Sacs success. It’s not the facilities, reputation, competition, proven coaching staff. What could it be?

Even if we move to FBS I'm not sure 5 star players on our horizons any time soon. They are few and far in-between and command millions of dollars from the schools in the SEC

Considering Cal can’t land guys in that category don’t get your hopes up. Sac is just renting some of these commits, of which only one is a 4*.
