I just checked into the forum from St John's, Newfoundland, and this just made my day! Congrats to Keelan...being talented, smart, mature and humble just paid off in a big way...he's a great example of the best from a former Aggie athlete!

Maybe also the fact that the Jacksonville QB, Nick Foles, got injured in Game 1 had some effect on Doss' decision-making. It would be hard for him to pick up where left off, stats-wise, and make a name for himself, playing with the backup QB.

Of course, $300,000 probably played an even bigger part in the final decision, or at least made the whole thing a lot easier.

Anyway, those are just assumptions. This is actually the better situation for KD again--good for him that people see his value!

Tremendous job......Keelan probably never even boarded a plane to FLA. Masterful.

He definitely boarded, his Instagram just showed him landing back in Oakland.

Great job by the agent, and good to see that the Raiders are willing to spend a little bit of money on him.

I thought that once a player cleared waivers and another team (Jacksonville) claimed him, his original team (Oakland) could not touch him unless the Jags released him. Not sure how this works. Did Jacksonville release him? In any case, glad to see him back to the Bay Area, at least for a year.

You are correct if he is on the 53 team roster. I believe practice players are free to sign with other teams.

Doss did not have a reception, did not see if he played or not. Had to get the sister to the airport during gametime.

I saw him go in for one play. Look at the bottom of the screen with 10:00 remaining in the 4th. #18.
