Ya, they were bad. The bi*tched about a push-off by Keelan Doss on that TD late in the game - where there was so clearly not a push-off. They also made up some BS about Doss having a bad attitude.

I know. I wonder how long ago that was? Fullerton played football from 1970-1992 and Wa-Griz Stadium opened in 1986.

I just watched the replay and I take back my original criticism of the Montana announcers. Sure, they were homers but they were fair and very complimentary of the Aggies for the most part. They were particularly impressed with Maier, the quick strike Aggie offense and the stellar job by the Aggie defense.

The game did look a little chippy at times in the first half but, for what I could see, it was a hard fought clean game with some tough hitting going on. I especially like the fact that the Ags controlled their emotions in the second half and went about their business without a lot of celebrating or trying to show up the Griz.

Most impressive to me was how Maier controls the game and is able to make throws under heavy pressure from awkward positions. Our defense overall was really good and Devon King had the game of his young career as an Ag along with Mason Moe who had a monster game. Once our offense got in a rhythm they were off to the races. Impressive.

Montana and the Aggies are both young teams so we should have a heck of a game when they come to Aggie Stadium next year.

This was indeed a signature win for the Aggies in the D1 era.

They also mentioned how young we are, only 6 seniors starting? ... I think 1 pick was thrown right at King.

As a matter of fact, I just bought my tickets for the Northern Arizona and Eastern Washington games just now.

I'm guessing that the Aggie home game will sell out that day, but the Eastern Washington game will sell out before that game day.

what Stanford noise? I was there and the place seemed nearly empty, and I don’t recall any problems with noise and false starts. . And even playing Wazzu there was a lot of empty seats. A very erudite but quiet crowd.

I would also say that at least one of the Montana announcers had nothing but good things to say about Maier. Of course after what he did-hard not to.

I’ve got to admit it was funner listening to the Montana announcers on the replay. Once you know we win their biased view doesn’t grate.
