40-17 at half. Davis with a nice run to close out the 2nd quarter. Bertsch with 17, and Hall leading the rebounders with 6.

10 TOs, which I am sure coach is going to mention in the locker room.

Long Beach shooting 20% for the first half. Davis at 52%, including 5-9 from deep.

Two and a half minutes into the third, Davis has scored 8, allowed zero, and LBSU wants to talk things over.

52-24 after three. LBSU actually improved their shooting by going 3-9 in the 3Q, but scoring three baskets is not going to get it done.

Davis has been pretty cold in the 2nd half, so it's good that the defense is not relaxing.

70-50 final. Bertsch scores a quiet 24 (?!); Bessolo with 12; Ko. Eaton with 11.

Good, steady win, but I think coach will have something to say about TOs and fourth quarter defense.

WBB Twitter notes that Ko.Eaton passed 500 career assists, and Morgan is now 6th on the all time Big West scoring list.

Great win. I think maybe that the coaching staff was experimenting a bit with those quick inside passes which went wayward and looked very bad. Those passes are extremely hard to make work. But if they could be perfected they would be an incredible addition to an otherwise very competent offense. Meanwhile, could Morgan’s Biomedical team arrange for a blood transplant from the woman’s team to the very sad guys team?

Something to keep an eye on, looking back at recent games: I think Kourtney could end up with a triple double in a game very soon. She was 11-6-6 last night.

Morgan's got 2140-something, so she'll definitely get to fifth (knock on wood). edit: 4th seems pretty doable, too--9 more games at 20/gm gets her there. Coincidentally, there are 9 games left in the regular season.
