The Aggies moved back up into the Top 10 of the Women's College Mid-Major Rankings at #8 this week and now they hit the road for two tough games against Santa Barbara and Cal Poly. The Gauchos are much improved this year and have won 5 of their last 6 games. The Aggies have played well in their last two games after having a bit of a mid-season struggle where they lost 3 out of 4 games. Neither of these two road games will be easy and Santa Barbara is on the rise as a program.
The Ags, playing like the veteran team they are, kept their poise and sprinted out to a 9 point lead in the 4th quarter and then hung on to win 68-61 despite shooting only 4-23 from downtown for 17%. Karley Eaton spurred the Aggie comeback with two 3's and a layup to bring the Ags back and take the lead by 5 in the 4th.
