Jake Maier has been named as one of 36 FCS players that comprise the College Football Performance Awards National Performer of the Year Watch List. The award will be given on January 10, 2018. Maier is the first Aggie ever named to this list.

Aggie kicker, Max O'Rourke, has also been placed on a prestigious watch list. He has been named as one of 41 kickers out of 750 in all levels of college football to be considered for Fred Mitchell award. This award is presented annually to the top kicker in college football and will be announced in mid-December.
