Riding a brief 3-game winning streak, UCD will host the Roadrunners this weekend at UCCP. The Ags continue to be led by Ryann Bennett (15.1) ppg, Megan Norris (13.0), Nya Epps (12.5), and Avery Sussex (11.0). Norris’ 12.0 rpg leads the conference, with Tegan Young adding 4.5 boards a contest. Davis puts up 69 ppg, and holds opponents to 63.

CSUB sits 9th in conference rankings, both offensively (61 ppg), and defensively (67 ppg). Chrishawn Coleman (17.4) is in 4th place in scoring in the Big West, followed by Maria Dias (9.). Tina Ikedi (8.1), 5th in conference, is Bakersfield’s leading rebounder. Former Aggie, Marley Langhi adds 9.2 ppg and 3.7 rebounds.

Bakersfield was a troublesome opponent 4 weeks ago in Kern County, so shouldn’t be overlooked as Davis tries to extend its winning streak prior to their return match with the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos. Currently in 3rd place, just behind UC Irvine, and just ahead of UC Santa Barbara, seeding in the Big West Tournament may come down to which teams avoided an upset by one of the squads in the bottom half of the standings.
