Currently 4th in the Big West, UCD will take on UCUCSD, tied for 1st tonight. Ryann Bennett (15.9) leads a quartet of Aggies averaging double figures. Joining her are Nya Epps (12.3), Megan Norris (12.2) and Avery Sussex (11.1). Norris paces the Aggies in rebounding at 11.6 rpg, tops in the Big West by a significant margin. Davis averages 69 ppg, while giving up 64.

UC San Diego averages 71 ppg, while holding opponents to 59. Erin Condron (14.8) heads a trio a trio of Tritons in double digits, followed by Sabrina Ma (13.2) and Rosa Smith (12.4). Condron also pulls down 8 rpg to lead UCSD on the glass.

A win tonight would keep the Aggies solidly in the hunt for the Big West regular season championship. Coach Jen Gross’ squad has struggled against top level teams both in and out of conference play this season. Though not unusual for such a young team, it would be great to see them take a step forward as they approach the halfway point in conference play.
