The Bears, currently sitting atop the Big Sky as preseason play winds down, come in averaging 76 ppg, and allowing 57. Sophomore guard Neenah Powell, (12.8) leads NCU, followed by junior forward Tatum West (12.4) ppg. Anish Hall comes off the bench to add 10.7 ppg. West, a strong offensive rebounder, pulls down 8.9 rpg to pace the Bears.

The Aggies continue to present a balanced attack led by Ryann Bennett at 17.6 ppg. Following are Nya Epps (12.5), Megan Norris (12.2), and Avery Sussex (11.4). Norris pulls down 10.4 rebounds a game. Davis averages 72 ppg, and holds opponents to 65. UCD is currently tied for 4th place in what looks like a very competitive Big West.

Well that was a truly awful outing. UNC certainly was decent, but if the Aggies even brought their B game, I think we would've won. UNC did have the kind of physicality that UCD always seems to struggle with. We're like a ballet troupe trying to dance in the mosh pit.

That is more poetic but spot on with what we felt. UNC played a very physical game.

I also think that Norris might not be 100%. The way she was moving and shooting free throws didn't look comfortable.

She's had therapeutic tape on the back of her knees all year. Most games she seems to play through it, but she's been a non-factor a couple of times.

For a while only Sussex was getting rebounds. I thought Theoni Tsami looked the best she has all year. I'd almost like to see her get a start at the 4, which I think is her natural position, and bring Young off the bench to back up Norris.
