Not to jinx anything, but what's the plan if we win tomorrow? Where are dorm-housed players going to stay?

With the 1-2 international students we have on campus, and with the precedent being set to extend the dorm stay for the players through Saturday, I can't imagine a scenario where they would not keep the dorms open through the semis and whatever practices are held the week of Christmas. I'm sure that was discussed when they met to decide on the current dorm status.

Our campus decides two days before the playoff game to extend move out time in the dorms by eight hours. Huh?

Do they really want students driving home late at night? Why couldn't they just extend it 24 hours, keep the DC closed so there is minimal impact on staffing.

My weather underground shows 46 and dense fog tomorrow. Guess I’ll be dressed the same as last Saturday. What happened to the ‘end of the week warmup’ the National Weather Service predicted!

I see "partly sunny" from 2pm to 4pm.

Big key tomorrow will be our running game. Fisher had a couple chunk plays (including the TD) and we were pretty solid on first down getting 3-4 yards. Acea has been a big boost there!

Other (obvious) key is turnovers. I don’t think we can count on 5 INTs, but a couple takeaways and none from us would be important.

Will we see Vargas? Would be a huge boost in the red zone if mostly healthy!

Dress in layers? Check
Bring the cowbell? Check?
Cheer in a historic victory? CHECK

Any news on our injury situation for this game? We had a few players leave the game last week. I'm hoping Jacob Psyk will be healthy enough to play. He can be a game changer on defense.

i have zero inside information. the only time i hear about injuries is when we have an alumni zoom or lunch with the coach and i tend to keep that information to myself. My gut says Psyk will go after a week of rehab.

I think you are onto the keys for the game. I feel like 200 on the ground is the magic number. We also have to keep their run game in check. I won't be surprised if they try to spy our QB after what he did last week. Problem is, you have to take a DB-type out of coverage to do it, none of their Linebackers look athletic enough to me to run with Caden. No idea if we see Vargas, but like I said earlier, he was sure moving well last week when celebrating a couple of our second half scores! Has to be close. Psyk looked to be OK and I would also expect him to play. Another guess is that we have probably practiced with less or no contact this week. No need for it at this point.

from what I’ve heard about practice this week:
Psyk didn’t practice this week but did mobility and sideline jogging the last couple days, didn’t look too comfortable
Goligoski didn’t practice til today and was heavily clubbed on his left arm
Few was non contact this week but fully practiced today

Tickets are about the same/better this week than last week.
