Defending Big West champion and current conference co-leader, UC Irvine, comes to town this weekend. The Aggies, who ground out a tough win over Riverside Thursday, are but a single game behind UCI and Hawaii. Hawaii currently holds the tie-breaker, having edged Irvine in the Islands a week ago.. Meanwhile, the Aggies have played unevenly since the end their 7 game winning streak. A win over the Anteaters would catapult Davis right back into the thick of the regular season race.

Irvine has a balanced attack with Hunter Hernandez leading the way at 13.6 ppg., supported by Deja Lee, Summah Hanson and Olivia Williams at 10.2, 9.8 and 9.0 ppg, respectively. Hernandez also leads the Anteaters on the boards with 5.8 rpg,, followed by Hanson at 5.5 rpg.
