The Gauchos have figured things out since the lost to UCD in December. At that point, they were 0-2 in Big West play but Coach Pasternak has put together a 4 game conference winning streak including a road win at Hawai`i. This is not the same team the Aggies handled in Davis. Big man Kenny Pohto has become one of the leading rebounders in the league (7.6 rpg) as well as UCSB’s leading scorer. Fans will remember him scoring 16 points and hauling in 9 rebounds with his 6’11” frame. The Gauchos have three other players averaging in double figures, so this is far from a one man show.
