I would love to see this get played in California one day.

Only possible place would be Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. Other places would be a bad fit. Also with most FCS teams east of the Rockies, it should be held there. Nashville is a better location than Frisco.

Nashville is pretty close to the mean population point of the US. It’s nice to see a new location and seems fair to rotate between different regions, if nothing else so that choose-your-Dakota fans get to see different parts of the country. Throwing Vegas and Orlando into rotation might drive some attendance.

I like Nashville, but the weather in CA would be better IMO. Maybe a rotating bases for a fixed location for a championship game.

I'm sure the NCAA has many reasons for the FCS championship game not being in CA. Otherwise it'd have been here by now.
These would be really cool SoCal locations though....

Dignity Health Stadium in Carson (LA Galaxy) seats 27,000. (Chargers played a season there?)


BMO Stadium next the the LA Coliseum (LAFC) seats 22,000.
