The Aggies are coming off two stellar performances that ended up in loses to two very good teams. The stretch of tough games continues today as the Ags travel to Bozeman to tangle with the undefeated Bobcats. The Cats feature 11 players out of 15 that are 6 feet tall or taller so the Ags will need to box out well on the boards and defend well in the paint.
The scrappy Aggie team that put a scare into #24 Stanford on just a few days ago was nowhere to be found today as MSU handily beat the Ags 78-59 in a game that was never close.
The Ags never looked energized from start to finish. The Bobcats pounded the Aggies on the boards 45-30 and that included 18 offensive boards that produced 17 2nd chance points compared to 1 2nd chance point for the Ags. The TO bugaboo that has been a problem for the Ags in recent years was there today as the Aggies turned the ball over 21 times which included 11 from their PG's and 5 from Sabel.
