Previously, Argenal was an assistant coach at the University of Arkansas, where he helped lead the Razorbacks to a Sweet Sixteen and an Elite Eight appearance over the past two seasons. Before that stops included Nevada.

He still holds the single game assist record, and married Aggie great Hannah Turner.
