The Aggies are coming off their best performance of the season in their solid win over Sac State. Things get much tougher now though as they head to Boise State to play the Broncos who are off to a hot start for the season. The Aggies beat the Broncos last year in Davis 69-62 to tie up the all-time series record at 2-2. The game will be televised on the Mountain West Network. Go Ags!
15-11 Broncos at the end of the 1st quarter. The Aggies got off to a terrible start and fell behind 14-0 before rallying in the final 3 minutes of the quarter.
48-42 Broncos at the end of the 3rd quarter. FT's and rebounding are the difference so far for the Broncos. The Ags are having trouble stopping the Broncos' bigs in the paint.
As has been the case far too often in the past couple of years, TO's and poor rebounding really hurt the Aggies. The Ags had 20 TO's and lost the rebounding battle 42-26 which included 11 offensive boards by the Broncos which led to 15 second chance points. The other glaring stat is that Boise got 24 points from their bench and the Aggies only got 1 point from their bench. Jen and her staff have a whole lot of work to do before conference play begins if the Aggies are going to be better than middle of the pack or lower.
