Realistically, I expect a PIG, but might be a non-PIG 16. Really 15 seed is probably the best we can hope for. Not sure who we'd match up best with.

I'm also expecting a PIG, so be it. Gives another chance at a warm-up before having to face a powerhouse. I'm just happy that we're here, we get what we get.

Same disappointment happened to me 2 years ago when I was watching hoping for an at-large.

I had a minor connection with a school that played a first round game in Sac in, I think, 2002. They lost their first game and per NCAA rules they were out of their hotel and on the plane the next day.

Looking up last year's First Four games, the first of the night tipped at 3:40pm Pacific and then after that (likely 6:30ish).

We were going to face a juggernaut anyway, I say better to build momentum with an even matchup first and rake in money for the conference before that.

3:40 and 6:10 Pacific are the slated timeslots per Dayton.

Maybe the selection committee wanted another story line. If Davis wins the PIG (big "if"), coach Les will face Kansas again. In 2006, Les' 13 seed Bradley knocked 4 seed Kansas out of the first round. Bradley went on to beat Pitt to get to the sweet 16.
