Edmonton beat Calgary today 32-20 and snapped an 8 game losing streak when playing at Calgary going back to 2011.

Jake played very well. He was 29-46 for 328 yards, 1 TD and no Int's. This is his 3rd 300 yard game in 3 weeks. His stats could have been much higher but his receivers had at least 5 dropped passes some of which would have been big gainers. These weren't tough catches, they were those groaner drops that occur when the receiver looks upfield before catching the ball or the ball hits the receiver right in the hands and he drops it.

The TV commentators were gushing over Jake again. One of them said, "How would you like to be Bo Levi Mitchell coming back to start again at QB when your backup has had three 300 yard games in a row." Speculation is that Mitchell may return for the Stampeders next game Saturday at Edmonton.
