Really interested to see how Weber handles Northern Iowa...

UNI narrowly lost to Iowa State, they pounded Southern Utah then survived a defensive battle with Idaho State at home. After Weber they face Youngstown at home then they're at the Fargodome.

    Rough Waters.

I’m not a betting man but I’d put money on us and Poly.

Cal sell out, on TV, QB goes down ... they lose in Q4.

I felt QB #2 should have seen some reps against us. Tough loss.

    ASU 24-17 over Kal
    San Jose loses 41-24

2nd string qb looked bad. Could run a bit but passes not close.

Garbers went down hard on his shoulder before the half. AZ looked good but i thought Cal would win. Indirectly makes a statement about suc this year. We might have our hands full with them.

After their first TD, little. With a mobile QB, they sure weren't imaginative on offense, and Bear fans think their D took it easy. They faced a mobile, but rookie QB.

Delaware 14 Pitt 10 3rd quarter. Both Delaware TDS off turnovers. Pitt beat UCF last Saturday. Bison handled Delaware easily 2 weeks ago.

Here are the rankings of all Division I teams on our schedule after 5 Games:

Ranking - School - (Previous Week)

    33 California (20)
    38 North Dakota State (36)
    93 Montana (119)
    105 Weber State (114)
    115 Montana State (123)
    121 UC Davis (102)
    133 North Dakota (130)
    146 Sacramento State (154)
    149 Cal Poly (160)
    166 Portland State (161)
    170 San Diego (174)
    201 Southern Utah (195)
    229 Lehigh (236)

UC Davis and California are the biggest losers in this week while Montana is the biggest winner.
Modest ranking improvements are made for Sacramento State, Cal Poly, Montana State, and Weber State.
The latter two teams pass UC Davis in this week's rankings.

Next up is #133 North Dakota.
Massey predicts a 50% chance of winning with a score of 27 to 28.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us drop out of the Top 10 in the FCS polls. I'm hoping that this was just an all-around bad day for the Aggies and a very good day for the Griz. I'm worried, though, Montana exposed a lot of cracks in our armor.

I think San Diego did that first

it would be a travesty for Davis to be ranked in the top 10, and it’s not going to happen. Losing by two touchdowns to two good teams is our only claim to be good; but they were still relatively one sided losses and we were outplayed pretty bad in the second half. The close win over San Diego is a negative. Lehigh win doesn’t impress because of who they are. Davis not even a clear favorite to win next week against UND. An objective observer might not rank us in the top 20,

My thoughts exactly. Right now I have many more doubts than confidence in the ability of this team so far. It appears that we have fallen off quite a bit from last year and I'm not sure why since we returned a lot of talent.

Missing the leadership of Doss, Parenteau, Moe?

Philosophical sayings can't replace a Bob Foster, Bob Slater, Parenteau. Are 60 yards rushing in a game a bottom 5 program low? Tehran Thomas is a warrior, hut he walked off the field like he was beat up and worn out. Maybe he is playing hurt.

No expert here, but where were the screen passes, QB roll out, or deep bombs?

So Portland State loses by only 7 to Arkansas and Arkansas only scores 20 points. Idaho State thumps the Vikings and hangs over 50 points on them. Another example of how crazy college football can be.
