I like that Smith and Arenado are getting a lot of playing time early. With Van Blake graduating next year they could very well be the second and third basemen, in some order, next year.

One thing I don't care for is that two relievers this year have been left to give up 7 runs apiece. When you have this many pitchers and are getting beaten badly there's no strategic advantage to leaving them in. That's the time to empty the bullpen.
