With the new 4 tier system that factors in road games into opponent difficulty, beating even mediocre to lower tier power schools will help make a case for an at large bid. We’re currently 95 in rpi. Beating a 75 rpi team on the road is considered a tier 1 win. Plus it gives us exposure to quality opponents.

My hats off to this team. Control their own destiny on the last game, despite the circumstances. Players stepping up, locking down on defense, hitting key shots, buzzer beaters. Still hoping Chima will be back, but can't count us out without him. Les will have them hungry on Sat and certainly throughout the BWT. Go Ags!

This may be a good thing learning to play w/o Chima. Let’s just hope he’s back soon. We could use a Shorts, Schneider, Chima trio in scoring. Plus Chima’s defense and rebounding

I don't want to read into it too much, but the fact that Chima was on the bench with the team is a very good sign. If his suspension was so serious he wouldn't play again, it doesn't make sense to be on the bench with the team. Then again, he might just be there for support. But overall I think it's a good sign.

Gotta give it to the Gauchos. They were unstoppable beyond the arc. Lots of talent on that squad. Hopefully we'll have Chima back to have a good shot at returning the favor at the Thunderdome. This team never gives up and has grit. That's a recipe to compete in every game. Moneke would've made quite a difference in this one.
