55 yard bomb after an interception and the game is tied at 7.

I liked the Idaho went for it...you've got to play to win and take some chances especially on the road but I didn't like the conservative play call. I think a well executed RPO would have been better.
  • Quarterfinals Week 16: UC Davis (11-2) @ South Dakota (10-2)
Enjoy the local culture guys and bring us luck tomorrow! My wife and I love to stop in little mom & pop restaurants in small towns all across the country when we are on long road trips. The experiences we've had range from wonderful and exciting to totally weird and unexpected but, all and all, we've met a whole lot of good, down-to-earth people. Keep us posted and Go Ags!
  • UC Davis Athletics Joining Mountain West - Football to Follow
This is a good synopsis about the Aggies joining the MWC. It seems like we have made a commitment to the MW to increase our resources to elevate basketball in particular. I read something to that effect in an article put out by Grand Canyon University Athletics as well.

Thanks for the interview with "The Human Glacier," Colter. You gotta love the big man in the middle. He seems to be just as good a person as he is a great football player.

Good for you! I'm sure the players will love having a few Aggie fans in the crowd. Be sure to post up your thoughts. Safe travels and Go Ags!

It's a great car. We had a 2011 Kia Sorento before we got the 2024 Sportage and it was a good car for us. We are incredibly impressed with the comfort, fit and finish and drivability of the Sportage. Most everything is so functionally well thought out and the touch screen is great. Some impressive engineering and quality control went into the design and manufacture of it.
  • Rd.2 PLAYOFFS Week 15: UC Davis vs. Illinois State
Yes, the video production quality has gone way up this year. I'd like to see them doing the same thing with basketball too.

We bought a Kia Sportage Plug-in Hybrid this year and it's a fantastic car. We had to buy a car on short notice and we weren't sure if we were ready to go full electric yet since we're retired and we like to take a couple of long road trips each year. So we opted for a plug-in-hybrid and it works perfect for us since most of our driving is short trips near our home in Sacramento so 90% of the time we are on all electric. It only has a range of about 34-38 miles electric but that gets us almost to Davis and back on all electric from our home in the Land Park neighborhood.

My brother-in-law has a Volkswagen ID4 and he has driven it from northern Wisconsin to Tucson and said finding charging stations was no problem. In hindsight, I think we could have gone full electric and would have been ok doing long road trips although, some of the remote places we like to go to, would take some prior research to make sure we knew where the charging stations were.

I wonder what changes are coming to the Big West now that Davis and Hawaii are out?

Did you see this coming, Mike? You often seem to have some inside info before the rest of us do.

I think the feelings are mixed over on the Big West Boards. Some see the reasoning behind the Davis move and others don't think it's a wise decision. I think most of the folks commenting are just wondering about what the effect will be on the conference now and who might be targets for new membership.

I don't see why our basic athletic values of strong academics and high character needs to change at all. Stanford manages to do it and compete.

I do think we will need substantial NIL funds to be competitive in recruiting though. However, I don't think that Chancellor May and the Athletics Department made this move without considering that. My guess is that they have a good read on that already and that they expect that those funds will grow as we become more compeiitive at this higher level of competition.
