Looks like things are turning around! I think Coach Les has the Ags in a matchup zone and it's giving the Grizzlies problems.

The Grizzlies big man, Dischon Thomas is 6 for 7 and 15 points. Montana is hitting 54.5% of their shots. They've gotten a lot of layups and our turnovers aren't helping. On the other hand, their height advantage is not a factor so far as we're outrebounding them 17-15. I hope they cool off in the second half, but they're not going to go all Pepperdine for us.

I am not obsessing over this, but I can't help but think that Hutton must have been a little dinged up. For what other reason would he not see much action. Also, didn't he just end a steak of catching at least one pass a game for ? games.

If we lose to the Hornets, our playoff chances drop to zero, right? But if we win, what are our chances? We'd have a better Big Sky record than Sac State. Does it depend on how Northern Arizona does against EWU next week?

I heard Jim Les say that Eli Pepper was wooed by major men's B-ball programs but his loyalty and desire to get the team a Big West title kept him at UC Davis. Here's hoping that Rex Conners and Larison feel the same way. I hope they all also value the quality of their degree, which is second to none.

Whew! My heart is getting too weak for these kinds of finishes. Great win though. I note that 6 of the Aggies possessions started inside the Bengal 15. Between that and being 3/12 on 3rd down, it's very good that we have Lan Larison. He should be the FCS offensive player of the week.
