Not sure what happened to Cooper, but no doubt the Ags would have a bigger lead if the was in there. Hope it's not an injury. This game is pretty even only because the Aggies were jacking up too many threes and only hit 20%. The defense, as usual, has been outstanding.

UCI upset by Cal Baptist 61-69 on Friday, but overall the Big West is doing fairly well. On Saturday, Cal Poly went up to Seattle and upset Seattle U 73-71. Aside from those two games, the teams you would expect to win are winning (UCSB, UCSD). Overall the conference is 14-8 so far. I'm sure Gauchofreg will have much to say about the Big West in this, the last season that the Ags are in it.

Give Idaho a lot of credit for hanging in there even being down by 21. Their quarterback is as good as any in the Big Sky as far a making clutch throws.

I jinxed them!

It looks like the guys are fired up to make sure that what happened last week won't happen again. This game feels very different from that one. I like the broadcast team. They seem knowledgable and objective.

How were we lucky enough to get Psyk from Harvard?

I am certain that it was Abatemarco because he was on camera at the start if the broadcast and it showed his name, otherwise I would not have been able to spell it. :-) Also, hi style was the same as it was for the Menlo game. His favorite phrase was "He's a good player." At the end of the game he noted that that would be his last game, which is why I am hopeful that Bob Williams will beback.

I guess we lost some folks when ESPN screwed up the broadcast, but the Ags had an impressive second half, I think they have a solid starting five and some good depth as well. Tonight gave ma a better sense of how the team is shaping up. Marcus Wilson wasn't flashy but he shows signs of being a solid point guard and Sevilla is shooting from distance in a way that reminds me of Eli Pepper. Rocak and Cooper form as solid a pair of forwards as I've seen recently and Omer Suljanovic showed that he can be a force as well. I think Bob Williams will be doing the color for future home games and that's good too.

Conner Sevilla is 5 of 6 from 3-point range (2 more than the Bison have as a team) and leads all scorers with 17. Nils Cooper has 12.

The Aggies did a nice job of adjusting their play after a ragged start, especially on the defensive boards. I hope they can keep it up in the second half. This game is totally winnable. Coach Abatemarco is doing a better job this game. I like the way he speaks fro his coaching experience, but he uses too much jargon sometimes.
