I don’t think any team be it FBS FCS, or NFL now posts it’s starting line up much less it’s injury report or it’s “starting line up”. Or depth chart. Why give up this information just for the media?

I think LL is out for some time. We have other injuries as well. We can deal with that as all teams do. Our backup RBs did very well against a weak defense but they played well. My hope is that TT is OK. He really is the main running game threat we have. By my observations I think he suffered an upper extremity injury which is much less debilitating than LLs knee issues. TT is a very tough player and i would give it 50-50 that he will play next week.

Maybe bringing in Marsharoni is a good idea at WR. They probably want to RS him, but hey, when in need adapt. Big size is what we need.

Someone once said that these kinds of games are coaches games because both teams are either beat up physically or demoralized emotionally Let’s see who comes out of this situation first. Ags by 1. I love both of these teams a lot.

I semi disagree with most of the above comments. But some points are probably worth looking into. I don’t think that Larison was over used in this game. He was having a career game and he deserved to stay in the game. He was never going to ask for a rest under those circumstances. In terms of the RB depth situation who could have predicted we would lose our two best RBs in the first four games of the season? We do have backups who can carry the ball. Our new OC is somewhat conservative with the passing game which is very consistent with our once powerful running game. Why call for a risky pass play when you have a Larison who can pick up 7 yard a carry. Now I agree things have to change and now we get to see if we have a coaching staff who can deal with this adversity. And adjust. I know Hawk is sitting with his coaches and working out a new plan right now. All this is just part of the game of football and I am optimistic that the Ags will come back next week. And maybe get Tompkins a little more involved in every aspect of the game.

Move Tompkins to RB? Just a little idea to think about.

I agree but it was a hard game to watch. Stomach churning game. Glad we got the win.

I think that this is really where good coaching comes in. Don’t let this game get into your head. Yes, we lost big to a ranked team but we did okay. Let’s move on and put this behind us and I think Hawkins has the personality to do this. This is the very hard work of coaching an athletic team in any sport. Just come back stronger!

What if Larison takes a direct snap and then throws a deep one? Fun times. . . Or Tompkins gets a late hand off around the corner. More fun.

At the presser, Hawk seemed pretty upbeat about the OSU game, but as he said OSU may actually be a top 10 team. I don’t think the Aggies have ever faced a team this good. Absolutely no weakness that i could discern.

Sorry to follow, but i just saw that the buckhorn restaurant which was and is for me a favored place at the famers market in davis and obviously is the only place to go in winters is now a sponsored company for sac state. I simply cannot understand this.

Given the current state of affairs in the FBS what university (out side of the Deep South) would want to go there? Frankly I wonder if college football as we now know it will even be around in a few years.

So, Ron Gould out of a job now. Teresa Gould soon to be as well. The sad human side of all of this is often overlooked. I would think Teresa would land on her feet OK, but for Ron it may be much harder. Riches to rags kind of story. I wish them well.

If we just don’t make any big mistakes we should be fine. Do not underestimate TAMC! They are a good football team and will come out fired up before a big crowd. It will be a very close game. IMHO
